Through the thin layer of flesh that separates the eye and what lies beyond,
I felt something flickering non-stop in a distance.
I woke up with a jerk, panicking and wondering how late I would be for work.
My fingers search frantically for the clock which
is hidden partially behind a pile of books.
Holy crap, its just 4am yet I felt as if I’ve slept for a century.
I wondered what is it that caused the premature awakening.
My mind grown with anticipation.
Maybe… just maybe something nice is gonna happen today?
I consoled myself back to sleep
8.25am
I strolled quietly into the office which was currently, at that point of time,
occupied by less than 5 people.
Everything seems unusually quiet just like the calm before the storm.
9.20am
No storm, no news, nothing.
I’m still here meddling with my task of data entry-ing clients “information” into the database…
Which I’ve expected and accepted as part of my daily routine for this attachment.
Except, their all sleeping soundly in their respective “Kubur” (graveyard).
Yes, their all dead.

i dun remember much of what happened thereafter except the end of it.
the clock strikes 6.30pm, every1 else was waiting for me to finish my last task of the day, or so i believed...
Squeezing thru the lift making my way past a bunch of people out of the lift i feel like an apple inside a fruit blender. -Squeeeze all ur juice outta you-
brisking thru the crowd in a lobby my eyes caught sight of the long queue for the shuttle bus but before i could sigh* or show any signs of displeasure, i noticed my supervisor and another colleague in the hall. The latter was showing signs of discomfort with a look of "I-ate-something-so-wrong" on her face.
