Its Fri~day~

Never in my life has this word sounds so beautiful so melodic so smoothening...
Hearing this word in the morning made my lungs inflated,
resulting in a hallucation of myself lifting off my feet a few inches off the ground...

On a side note, who needs a roller coaster ride when we get an extra
crunchy, bumpy shuttlebus ride by -i dun care abt humps- bus drivers every morning?

IPP has not been as tiring as actual other jobs i've taken in the past
due to the fact that we are just 'students' and we do have restrictions on
stuff we are required and able to do. Neither has it been as mental stressful
as what i've faced in army but
i do believed i've learnt more than i would be able anywhere else.

I'm refering to both financial world and the human factors.

-i-shall-leave-the-financial-knowledge-to-my-report-instead- doh..

Unlike in part-time jobs and serving the army, backstabbing, credit snatching couldnt be more obvious anywhere else. any1 with eyes and above -16-yr-old-mentality-could see.

It just remind me of the common phrase of, the rich gets richer the poor gets poorer.
Except the "nice-to-bully" gets bullied more often and the "will-bully" gets them more often.

PS: my team is great. Cant be any better... actually can. but im not greeedy :)

Bascially my daily schedule is... (im naming them in general so its not considered as leaking company blar blar blar out...)

Morning work as Garang Guni/Librarian/Clerk/Bangala/Do Saikang etc
(look im not complaining cos the more stuff u do time flies...)
for like 2 hrs.
Following that ill be doing Ibroker - Deposits/withdrawals/conversions
Then Sorting out of dividends' counters and the different payment modes
such as thru Giro, cheques, EPS and alot more...
and then Input, Set off, Refund EPS...
and then help tear, seal, envoloping, counting cheques and send them for mailing...
and then balance the a/c for what i've done for the day (did i mentioned i was able
to balance my a/c today? :) )
and then -oh-i-so-hate-stamping/chopping- of invoices and sending them for mailing...
and then sorting out the leftovers...
and then going back to work as Garang Guni/Librarian/Clerk/Bangala/Do Saikang etc
and
then
its
home
sweet
home...

Through the thin layer of flesh that separates the eye and what lies beyond,
I felt something flickering non-stop in a distance.
I woke up with a jerk, panicking and wondering how late I would be for work.
My fingers search frantically for the clock which
is hidden partially behind a pile of books.
Holy crap, its just 4am yet I felt as if I’ve slept for a century.

I wondered what is it that caused the premature awakening.
My mind grown with anticipation.
Maybe… just maybe something nice is gonna happen today?
I consoled myself back to sleep

8.25am
I strolled quietly into the office which was currently, at that point of time,
occupied by less than 5 people.
Everything seems unusually quiet just like the calm before the storm.

9.20am
No storm, no news, nothing.
I’m still here meddling with my task of data entry-ing clients “information” into the database…
Which I’ve expected and accepted as part of my daily routine for this attachment.
Except, their all sleeping soundly in their respective “Kubur” (graveyard).
Yes, their all dead.

CONTINUING...

i dun remember much of what happened thereafter except the end of it.
the clock strikes 6.30pm, every1 else was waiting for me to finish my last task of the day, or so i believed...
Squeezing thru the lift making my way past a bunch of people out of the lift i feel like an apple inside a fruit blender. -Squeeeze all ur juice outta you-

brisking thru the crowd in a lobby my eyes caught sight of the long queue for the shuttle bus but before i could sigh* or show any signs of displeasure, i noticed my supervisor and another colleague in the hall. The latter was showing signs of discomfort with a look of "I-ate-something-so-wrong" on her face.
